ARCHIBALD // Given Facebook remembers all, I was reminded today that 3 years ago, I was granted the absolute opportunity of a lifetime, to sit for one of Australia's most truly incredible portrait
artists, @corinnelewis_art (follow her. She is incredible) contacted me, and said she wanted to paint me for the
Archibald Prize, and asked me if I would consider sitting for her.
I told her I would name my first three children 'Corinne', (regardless of gender), for the opportunity, she said I didn't have to do that, I promised I would.....and about it we went.

Ron & Patsy's (my folks) dining room in Port Macquarie, (but which I will totally will be stealing back, when I am a proper grown up, and have a mantel place to hang it above, and a gold liquor cart which I will serve (and drink) dirty martinis from, dressed like

The Golden Girls, from at 10am everyday)...But in all seriousness, Corinne - you are EXCEPTIONALLY, ridiculously, enviably talented....and on top of all that - one of the most gentle, kindest, most truly genuine souls I have ever met, and I cannot express or do justice in words, how truly humbled, and filled with gratitude I am, that you would have even considered me for such an honor... So, thank you. It will forever be a highlight of my career ( and life).
