No small feat. The 284 sq. ft #SpaceStation sits at the edge of the world's newest lava lake, base camp for bringing the first volcano online. By descending to the depths of one of the world's most active craters inside Nicaragua's #MasayaVolcano, explorer and #MountainHardwear ambassador @sam_cossman and his team installed a network of sensors to reveal new insights to expand the understanding of the volcanic process and work toward developing new ways for more accurately predicting volcanic eruptions worldwide.
