In 2011, during Opening Ceremony’s year of Argentina, Humberto and Carol took a trip to Buenos Aires—and returned with as many ideas as the city has crafts. One was a carnival market at the Ace Hotel, and another was this floral appliqué dress, inspired by South American textiles. Our re-edition, hand-beaded and tucked in India, swaps the original black flowers for off-white blooms.
