This dentistry chair was made by S.S. White Manufacturing Co USA, 1925-1935. The chair was used in the dental practice of Gordon Frederick Young, 113-117 King Street, Newtown, until the early 1980s. ⠀

The practice was founded c1900 and when it closed in the 1980s it was believed to have been the oldest continuous practice in NSW.⠀
