In an exclusive partnership with Yamada Suisan, a lauded eel breeder in Japan, made possible thanks to All Nippon Airways Group. Maguro-Donya @magurodonya.sg now has premium, farm-bred unagi in their dining menu.
Did you know that many eels (unagi) we eat in some stores or bought at supermarkets are not true Japanese eels?
Japanese eels are plump and known for their smooth and succulent texture.
Enjoyed the rich flavour of the unagi here but would have preferred my unagi just a little more charred.
