This photograph shows two models wearing Easter #bonnets by New York celebrity #milliner Mr John. The #ducklings in the photo are also adorned with little hats and ribbons. ???

In the 1950s and ’60s, Mr John was as famous for his hats as Christian Dior was for haute couture. His creations appeared in Hollywood films with Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Vivien Leigh and Marilyn Monroe. His other notable clients included Wallis Simpson, Mrs Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney, Eleanor Roosevelt and Jacqueline Onassis.⠀
