“I started dancing ballet when I was 11, and the nine years I spent studying ballet at Shanghai Dance School are a big part of my memory: it was really a wonderful experience. I love its elegance and sense of purity, and the elegant aura of a ballerina, the expression of her body language, her sensitivity toward music... But, most importantly, ballet has taught me that in life one must have self-discipline, self-confidence, and a sense of self.”
