Making a virtual room ambience for 4 SWAM-S plugins' string quartet with Vienna MIR Pro. I came up with a nice way. Select a mono microphone, and place it in front of each instrument, export the mix at each time. Repeat that for 4 times, for 1st violin, 2nd violin, viola, and cello. You'll get four close-mic-position audio files. Then select a stereo microphone, and place it at an off-mic-position, and export the off mix, and you'll get an off-mic-position audio files. Then mix all of the tracks.
