Be careful, you might catch a cold! "Ophelia" is a painting by British artist #JohnEverettMillais. It depicts a character from #Shakespeare's play Hamlet, singing before she drowns in a river.

Did you know that the model for this work lied fully clothed in a full bathtub in the artist's studio? #Millais placed oil lamps under the tub to warm the water (it was winter when he did the work). The lamps went out and the model caught a severe cold. Her father sent the painter a letter demanding £50 for medical expenses.
The work is held in the @テート・ギャラリー in London.
