It’s been 6 years since the Tohoku earthquake happened. I will continue to help people in Tohoku whatever it takes to revive from the tragedy, and I will also work really hard as a baseball player as people in Tohoku all do to come back from the difficult times. The picture is “the miracle cosmose” that I planted with my family at home in Seattle. I got its seed from our friend who found the cosmos in Kesennuma, where one of the biggest tsunamis hit at that time, soon after the earthquake occurred and grew with care and love.
