A summary of interesting comments from Kuroko no Basket's stage actors in their Sparkle Magazine interview:

- The first thing that comes to Shouta's mind when he thinks of the first kurosute was the basketball practice! It was so tiring ("Really tiring." -Mario) he thought he was going to die, but it was also really fun, and as someone who'd never played basketball before, he feels that he made great progress "and became the best, right?"
- "Singing your own praises!" - Yuuya
- Mario says he'll never forget Shouta's intonation practices from then
- All of them really want to go for a training camp together for kurosute part 2's rehearsals!
- Yuuya shared that the Seirin members gathered at Ono Kenshou's house one time and he treated them to yakiniku. They watched the anime from his DVDs, but all got depressed when Seirin lost to Touou at the IH prelims. Then they said to themselves, "This isn't the end!" and watched the anime till the last episode - For every show, Asato Yuuya makes an impressive 56 jumps onstage as Kagami Taiga
- Yuuya and Mario commented that Shouta and Ryo showed the most spirited performance when they acted as Kise's fangirls (the scene where he tosses his blazer), and Shouta says it was because Mario was appealing to them through eye contact with all of his might
- Shouta says to get into spirit as Aomine, he'll go outside once and let out a big yell
- Yuuya says everyone inside found that especially noisy
- To become one with Midorima, Ryo always filed his nails after the opening scene, and tied his basketball shoelaces from right to left
- While the other teams had cheers, Touou didn't and only slapped each other on the back. But after a while they started saying something along the lines of "Touou, always victorious!"
- Mario ended up assimilating Kise's emotions as his own and shedded real tears during the performance (Ryo knew about it, but this was a surprise for Yuuya)
