"For the most part designers seek out Design House Stockholm and present their own ideas, but sometimes they just state: ‘I have something that I must tell you about’. That was what happened in this instance. What is interesting about Melange is the combination of our Scandinavian company and the Thai craft. The entire product is woven by hand.” Anders Färdig, managing director of Design House Stockholm, tells the story about the #MelangeCushions, a collaboration between designer Nina Jobs, Thai craftswomen using traditional techniques, the Kids Ark organization in north-western Thailand and #DesignHouseStockholm.
