I was watching a documentary earlier on child labour, which made me reflect about my life and the world around me. To those kids in developing countries, bread is a staple of life, an luxury which they can't even ask for. And yet for those living in a stable country like ours, we take bread and rice for granted, producing so much food wastage and yet don't see it as a problem at all

While there isn't much we can do to alleviate poverty, I think we can all be more conscious of our actions and be grateful for the food we have •
