"We arrived at the trailhead of Spencer's Butte around 6 am. As we fitted our garments and adjusted our hydration packs, the cool autumn air bit bitterly at our faces. It was a chilly reminder that running was going to be our only hope of staying warm. Around 6:10 our feet met the trail. My mum and I quickly settled into a comfortable, but vigorous pace. As we weaved our way up the trail, our spirits grew more and more livelier. With much excitement we reached the summit. As we overlooked Eugene and the Southern Willamette Valley, it felt as if we were floating above the clouds."- HOKA Fan @explore.jordan ? @wenona_runs
