Meet the adorable Angie Murphy, @angiemurphh of @janeonfillmore ✨ A barista for about 6 months and so on point with her tulips and Rosettas latte art.☕?? I asked Angie what about being a barista she enjoys the most, "I like that I get to be a beacon of light to caffeine depraved souls... But really, I've met some amazing people in the industry, coworkers and customers alike. One time, I made a hot chocolate for a little kid and the heart on it turned out terribly but he was so excited about it. He turned to his mom and said, "Woah mom, look! She made a heart split open! That is so cool!" My perception of children has been changed ever since."? She moved to SF for college and after Angie graduated, she stayed in the city. San Francisco is perfect for Angie because her life is constantly changing/evolving...and those who knows SF...it's pretty darn special!?? Angie shared her first moment she wanted to be a barista, "I made milkshakes at my last job and I realized that I really enjoy making drinks but milkshakes made my hands too cold so I thought I would give coffee a try. Also, when I started working at Jane I would watch our coffee manager Evan killing it with his latte art everyday and it inspired me to want to make drinks that taste and look just as good (or almost as good) as his." On her days off, Angie enjoys going to other coffee shops to read, explore the city, and catch up on sleep!
