????Was incredibly honored to be invited by the The Australian Consul-General, the Honorable Nick Minchin, to attend the Fred Hollows Reception, tonight in NYC. While the distance between home and here is physically vast, as a very proud Aussie living abroad, I am unwaveringly passionate about doing whatever we can to actively close the gap between here and there, to encourage Australian companies and foundations to expand in this market and propel on to a global stage, in business, and charitable ventures.... And as always, I forget how nice it is to be in a room of accents from home ? (they even served avocado on mini toasts!) -SWx
