Meet the awesome (always a smile on his face) Austin Ferrari, owner and barista at @provendercoffee on 18th St. Great little cafe serving @andytownsf & killer avo-toast ! Austin, a barista for about 8 years loves everything about being a barista and surrounding himself with the world of coffee. Started in the hospitality industry when he was very young, Austin has familiarize himself with the art of taste found in food, wine, coffee and all the things that intrigues our palettes. "Being a barista allows me to be creative and display my joy through delicious cups of coffee." Loving and living the SF life Austin seized the opportunity and open up a coffee shop. "This city fuels on coffee, and I wanted to give my best shot at what we could bring. I like being located in our little cozy neighborhood of Potrero. More regulars, and more community around it to me." I asked Austin what he does on his day off..."days off (not really ideal when you own a business), but, I like to go for a ride on my ducati 848. Maybe go north, have some oysters and a drink. Hang out with my brother and as many of my closest friends." A future goal Austin wants to pursue is to open a few more restaurants and coffee shops in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Describing his perfect day is "sleeping in, and then spending the entire day with an agenda of adventurous things to do with my brother. My brother is my biggest mentor and best friend, spending time with him is probably the best thing I will ever have in my life, he is the man!"
