An LE-7A engine mounted on an H-IIA rocket is exhibited at Miraikan! Himawari-8, which is now providing us meteorological information, and Himawari-9, have the same functions as satellites. And the launch today was to prepare the backup system.
今日、静止気象衛星「ひまわり9号」がH-IIAロケット31号機により無事打ち上げられました。H-IIAロケットに搭載されているLE-7Aエンジンは、未来館で展示されています。私たちが日々気象情報を得ている「ひまわり8号」と、今日打ち上げられた「ひまわり9号」は同じ機能を持つ衛星で、今回の打ち上げはバックアップ体制を整えるためだそうです。
