The catch: The post needs to get more than 1 million retweets by 11:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Oct. 11. As of Thursday afternoon, the tweet had 7,000 retweets. When will the #prize be claimable? The fine print of the competition entry states that "in the case that a trip to Mars is not commercially available, Prize Winner will receive the ARV in the form of a check." The ARV of the grand prize trip to Mars is $200,000. However, it is currently unclear when the "trip voucher” would be valid. #space
