A beautiful evening view of one of the five #GE wind turbines that make up @Deepwaterwind’s #BlockIslandWindFarm, situated three miles off the coast of Block Island, Rhode Island. These Haliade #turbines are some of the largest in the world, with a 150-meter diameter rotor that sweeps over an area large enough to fit nearly two Airbus A380 double-decker passenger jets.
