In the groovy universe that fashion illustrator Isabelle Feliu (@isabellefeliu) creates through her drawings and paintings, a rainbow of nudes can model handbags, a muse with a white galaxy on her dress dances with a tiger, and mermaids wear blue ballet slippers. Isabelle, who lives in Oslo, says that the key to adding color to an illustration is to begin with lots of paint. “You should always mix more paint than you need,” she says. “Otherwise you will have to stop painting to make some more, and the paint will dry and leave marks. It will also be hard to get the exact same color and transparency the second time.” Isabelle’s list of dream collaborators is long and includes @delpozo, @レイチェルコーミー and swimwear brands, especially @mimihammer. “It is hard to choose, there are so many!”
