"As part of my art journey this year, I challenged myself to create a hundred portraits of women and the first one who popped in my mind was my ultimate favorite, Florence Welch. I admire her because of her holistic talent in music. Her songs are always creatively written plus her voice, along with the rest of the machine, sounds heavenly. Ever since her band released their 'Lungs' album, I immediately got hooked. Their songs became my lullaby as I sleep at night and my booster during the day. Upon watching their performances on Youtube, I observed how people are smitten by her presence. Her energy radiates in all directions and one can clearly see how passionate she is in her craft. Ultimately, like her, I want my art to manifest who I am and the things that drive me as an artist for others to see. P.S.
