I went to an amazing gig of Akiko Yano Trio at Blue Note Tokyo with my wife today. I went to see her gig last summer, so it was my second exposure to her music live. The trio was the same as last year, Will Lee on bass and Chris Parker on drums. We sat in front of the stage left, just behind Chris’s drum set. So we amazingly felt the power of the drums and bass. I was very happy to listen to 'Hitotsudake' which is my favorite song. #akikoyano #willlee #chrisparker #bluenotetokyo #bluenote #tokyo
