The German photographer #ErichAndres photographed some of the 20th century’s most momentous and terrifying events with great originality, but also pathos. This unusual photograph, taken from under the bleachers at the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin, features spectators’ shoes and boots rather than the event itself.
