Our corpse flower has finally begun blooming! Because the start of the bloom coincides with our latest NYBG/125 Summer Concert Evening taking place in and around the Conservatory on Thursday, July 28, 6:30–9:30 p.m., the way to see it tonight is to purchase a ticket to the event (nybg.org/evenings), complete with live jazz, cocktails, and dance.

The flowering cycle is expected to last 24–36 hours, so Friday, July 29, should be a great day to see (and smell) this phenomenon in person. We’ll be open from 9 a.m.–8 p.m. on 7/29 to accommodate the bloom!
