A HBD to the late Ian Curtis and we head north to Manchester for our IG today. This is a rare bootleg of the album An Ideal for Living that was released in 1978. It records Joy Divisions punk persuasion prior to the shift to post punk with Unknown Pleasures. Born in Stretford and growing up in Macclesfield , Curtis was one of the biggest influencers on the Manchester movement.
