#TBT to the 2004 Pikes Peak International Hillclimb, where @travispastrana entered his 3rd rally ever. Yes rally, not hillclimb. In an attempt to make the hillclimb more closely resemble a traditional multi-stage rally, the teams entered in the SCCA ProRally class ran more than just once up the mountain. Instead, they ran several shorter sections of the course on the days leading up to race-day and then ran the entire course twice on race-day. One of the shorter sections was below (before) the Hillclimb start line, AND it was run at night, a challenge never before attempted at Pikes Peak.
