Gray reef sharks swarm over coral reefs in a place called Kingman Reef, located about 1200-miles south of Hawaii. A very sharky place, diving here was like traveling back in time; the reefs were very healthy and the predators plentiful. Researchers working here can now use this as a baseline to use for conservation on degraded reefs elsewhere in the world.
