This Spring, we’re presenting solo shows by Nicole Eisenman, Goshka Macuga, Cally Spooner, Andra Ursuta, and Beatriz Santiago Muñoz, five multidisciplinary women artists whose work questions assumptions we have about art today. “As we chose these artists, we chose them based on the quality of their work and on an idea of art as a universal language that transcends gender and traditional roles,” said Massimiliano Gioni, our Artistic Director. New Museum has partnered with @DKNY for this series of exhibitions to help bring continued recognition to the contributions of women at the forefront of contemporary art.
