Dormeuil is proud to continue supporting the victims of the 2011 Great North Eastern Earthquake in Japan. Dormeuil named this project "Kibou 311" which started from 2012 to plant cherry trees through the organization LOOM Nippon .
On 8 May 2016, many joined the local people and Dormeuil Japon to plant cherry trees at Hikoronosato Minami-sanriku cho. This year, Mr.Dominic Dormeuil joined this too, and he promised to continue supporting this project.
Loom Nippon held a ceremony which included beautiful performances. Yuko Minagawa played the cello and Kakushin Tomoyoshi played the Biwa, a traditional Japanese instrument.
Local Chorus group, Dance group, and special joint Brass band of local 3 schools, high school and junior high school students performed beautiful music.
