In 2004, in celebration of what would have been #WillemdeKooning's one hundredth birthday, #GagosianW24St held an exhibition that highlighted five decades of the prolific artist's career: "A Centennial Exhibition." Dutch American artist Willem de Kooning was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on April 24, 1904.
