It’s ‪#NationalParkWeek and we’re paying tribute with today’s peek into the Museum archives. “Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park" is part of the Museum’s Lantern Slide Lending Library Collection. Mammoth Hot Springs sits on a hill of travertine in Yellowstone National Park. It came to exist over thousands of years as hot water from the spring cooled and deposited calcium carbonate. #TBT #throwbackthursday
