When one of the most promising surfers on Reunion Island, 13-year-old Elio Canestri, was killed, the shark crisis boiled over. Having spent the last 17 years travelling the world, Jeremy Flores (@ジェレミー・フローレス) was able to bring a global perspective to the issue. A cutting-edge shark net that would let most sea life through but keep the bull sharks out was installed, an event he describes as:

"One of the single greatest achievement of his life.”
