The red star insignia of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is seen on top of the PLA Forces Hong Kong Building as fog envelopes the territory's Central district. The building, completed in 1979, was previously known as the Prince of Wales Building and housed the British Army's Hong Kong head office until the territory's handover to China in 1997.
