The @Tribeca Film Festival announced today that the world premiere of @MagnoliaPics "The First Monday in May" will open the 15th annual Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday, April 13. Directed by Emmy Award nominated filmmaker Andrew Rossi the documentary looks at The Met’s most attended #CostumeInstitute exhibition in history, "China: Through the Looking Glass.” The film follows curator Andrew Bolton on an exploration of the tension between fashion and art. Rossi also captures the collision of high fashion and celebrity at the #MetGala co-chaired by Condé Nast Artistic Director and @Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. #metmuseum #FirstMondayinMay #ChinaLookingGlass
