Our Library is full of neat stuff. This copy of Linnaeus' Systema Naturae, a 13th edition from the late 18th century, was purchased in London by botanist and physician David Hosack--better known as the doctor who tended to Alexander Hamilton's wounds after his duel with Aaron Burr. The book's purchase ~wasn't~ memorialized in song and dance, but we like to think there's still an opportunity there. #botany #hamilton
