We know classics like the back of our hand. Taking inspiration from jazz players of the 1930's, Maison Corthay introduces its first three-eyelet Derby with a mock toe cap, the Ike.
This trompe l’œil is unique among all of Corthay shoes, giving the house’s latest creation a great deal of subtlety.
Pierre Corthay was fascinated with shapes from a very early age and was obsessed with defining and creating the smoothest curves possible. His early work provided the basis for the sophisticated, sculptural lines of Corthay shoes. Maison Corthay’s new Derby is the perfect example of these curves.
On the tip of the quarter, the piping creates a continuous, rounded line that accentuates the Ike's unique feel.
