ロンドンと東京を拠点に、絵画やイラスト、音楽活動などアーティストとして活動するSHOKOが、2016年春夏コレクションより、ロンドンでオリジナルのファッションブランドを立ち上げる運びとなりました。SHOKOが少女の頃から影響を受け続けている1960年代のカルチャーと、自身が育った都会的なセンスとインターナショナルな感覚を交えて、日々のインスピレーションの中から制作したオリジナルのアイテムは、SHOKOが描いたペインティングからオリジナルのテキスタイルを作って服作りをすること、ロンドンで生地と衣服を生産することにこだわり、生産全過程をロンドンにて行います。公式インスタグラムは @sforshoko どうぞよろしくお願い致します。

SHOKO – an artist based in London and Tokyo and who’s work covers a broad creative spectrum including painting, drawing and music – will be launching her own fashion label in London beginning with a 2016 Spring/Summer Collection. SHOKO draws her inspiration from 1960s culture which has fascinated her since she was a girl, and the metropolitan and international environment she experienced while growing up. SHOKO’s original clothing features unique textiles printed with her own paintings. The entire process from textile printing to garment production takes place in London.
