#Jainism is a religion from South Asia that teaches nonviolence, open-mindedness, and self-control. Jains extend their practice of nonviolence to all living things and often practice forms of vegetarianism. A follower of Jainism who has conquered all inner passions is known as a jina, or “conqueror,” the Sanskrit word from which the religion gets its name.
