Two recent works by Andrea Geyer, now on view on our first floor through November 29, 2015, address the lack of recognition of women's work in the story of the modernist movement of the 1920s and 1930s. This two-part presentation—the video projection "Insistence" and the large-scale wall drawing "Revolt, They Said"—is the culmination of Geyer's research on MoMA’s founders—Lillie P.
