Labor Day parade photo from around 1946 by G. Dwoyid Olmstead. He was an African American photographer who worked in the Hill District, an underprivileged area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was self-taught as a photographer, but later attended the Art Center School to study photography.
