Sometimes when whales breach, they do it a little too close to be able to capture the whole animal! Even though this was not the case for this photo, I thought this was a more unusual angle. As you zoom in on the whale, you notice more detail in their skin and muscles, the barnacles lining their pectoral fin, and the water dripping off of their body.
