Wally never believes me that the watermelon is gone. He has to see for himself that my hand is empty. Then he literally sits at the edge of the bed with his back toward me with the saddest face, staring across the room longing for more melon. It's too hard for me to bear, so I give him more, and the pattern begins again. I've learned to give him tiny pieces so he can play his little bunny games!
